Prescription Diets

We sell both Hill's Prescription Diets and Purina Veterinary Diets.  There are other veterinary specific diets available.  We will carry any product we feel our patients need - so ask if you have a request.

We carry a small variety of Purina Veterinary Diets.  But will readily carry any product that our patients need. Below are pictures of their veterinary line available.  Click on the pictures or the logo to take you to the appropriate web link.



          

Purina LA is our favorite diet for so many dogs.  It is a salmon and rice based diet with very high levels of fatty acids.  It tends to be a great diet for dogs that have had dermatitis or gastroentestinal sensitivities or allergies.  LA is available in 8, 20 and 35# bags.

Contains high levels of omega-3 fatty acids including EPA and DHA, as well as alternative protein sources, such as - salmon meal, trout and canola meal.

Dietary Characteristics

Purina Veterinary Diets® LA® brand canine formula provides complete and balanced nutrition for growth of puppies and maintenance of the adult dog and has been formulated to achieve the following characteristics:

·         Limited number of alternative protein ingredients

·         Appropriate levels of omega-6 fatty acids

·         High omega-3 fatty acid content

·         Increased antioxidant vitamins A and E

 ·         Canine Gentle Snackers is a perfect complement when using the LA Formula.
